Privacy Policy
Last updated: September 8, 2026
Midday Therapy LLC ("we," "us," or "Confident Psychiatry") operates the Confident Psychiatry website and the Confident Psychiatry learning community. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices available to you.
By using this website, you agree to this Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
Â
1. Scope of this Policy
This Policy covers information collected through the Confident Psychiatry website.
The learning community itself is hosted on Skool, a third-party platform. When you create a community account, post content, or make payments there, that information is collected and handled by Skool under Skool's own privacy policy, not this one. We do not control Skool's data practices. Please review Skool's privacy policy before joining.
This Policy also does not apply to other third-party sites we link to, including YouTube and social media platforms.
Â
2. This site does not collect protected health information
Confident Psychiatry provides professional education for clinicians. It does not provide patient care, and it is not a HIPAA-covered relationship between us and you or your patients.
Do not send us, or post in the community, any protected health information or any information that could identify a patient. This includes names, dates, locations, record numbers, images, or unusual details that could identify someone in combination. If you send such information, we may delete it.
Â
3. Information you provide
We collect information you choose to give us, including:
-
Contact information — your name and email address, if you email us or submit a form.
-
Correspondence — the contents of messages you send us.
-
Membership information — if you join the community, your account and billing information are collected by Skool and its payment processors. We may receive limited information from Skool such as your name, email address, and membership status. We do not receive or store your full payment card details.
4. Information collected automatically
When you visit the site, certain information is collected automatically:
-
Device and browser information — browser type, operating system, device type, screen size, and language.
-
Usage information — pages viewed, time spent, links clicked, referring website, and the approximate date and time of your visit.
-
Approximate location — a general region derived from your IP address. We do not collect precise GPS location.
-
IP address, which may be stored in server logs by our hosting provider.
5. Cookies and similar technologies
We and our service providers use cookies, pixels, tags, and similar technologies to operate the site, remember preferences, understand how the site is used, and measure advertising.
Categories used:
-
Strictly necessary — required for the site to function and to keep it secure.
-
Analytics — help us understand traffic and how visitors use the site.
-
Advertising — used to measure the performance of advertising and to show relevant ads on other platforms.
You can control cookies through your browser settings, including blocking or deleting them. Blocking some cookies may affect how the site works. Where required by law, we present a cookie notice allowing you to accept or decline non-essential cookies.
6. Analytics and advertising
Website hosting and analytics. This site is built and hosted on Wix. Wix collects usage and analytics data in connection with providing its service, under Wix's own privacy policy.
Advertising platforms. We advertise on third-party platforms, which may include Meta (Facebook and Instagram), Google, YouTube, LinkedIn, TikTok, and X. To measure whether our advertising works, we use tracking technologies provided by those platforms — for example, the Meta Pixel and similar tools.
These tools may collect information such as pages you visited, actions you took on the site, your IP address, device and browser information, and cookie identifiers. That information is shared with the advertising platform, which may use it to:
-
Measure the performance of our ads
-
Show you our ads on their platforms
-
Build audiences of people who have visited our site, and audiences of people with similar characteristics
-
Combine it with information they already hold about you under their own privacy policies
Each platform handles this data under its own privacy policy and its own terms, which we do not control.
Your choices. You can limit interest-based advertising through:
-
Your Meta account settings, under Ads Preferences
-
Your Google Ads settings, at adssettings.google.com
-
The Digital Advertising Alliance opt-out at optout.aboutads.info
-
The Network Advertising Initiative opt-out at optout.networkadvertising.org
-
Your browser settings, including blocking third-party cookies
Opting out limits personalized advertising. It does not stop you from seeing ads generally.
7. How we use information
We use information to:
-
Operate, maintain, and improve the website
-
Respond to your questions and correspondence
-
Provide and administer community membership
-
Understand how the site is used and what content is useful
-
Market and advertise Confident Psychiatry, and measure whether that advertising works
-
Protect the security and integrity of the site
-
Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service
8. How we share information
We share information only as described here:
-
Service providers — companies that help us operate the site and business, including our website host (Wix), the community platform (Skool), payment processors, email providers, and analytics providers. They may use the information only to provide services to us.
-
Advertising platforms — as described in Section 6.
-
Legal reasons — if required by law, subpoena, or legal process, or where we believe disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, safety, or the safety of others, or to investigate fraud or violations of our Terms.
-
Business transfers — if the business is sold, merged, or reorganized, information may transfer as part of that transaction.
We do not sell your personal information for money. Note that sharing data with advertising platforms for targeted advertising may be considered "sharing" or a "sale" under some state privacy laws, such as California's. See Section 11 for how to opt out.
Â
9. Data retention
We keep information only as long as needed for the purposes described in this Policy, or as required by law. Correspondence is generally retained for as long as it is useful for responding to you and maintaining our records. Analytics data is typically retained on a rolling basis by our service providers under their own retention schedules.
Â
10. Security
We take reasonable measures to protect information, including using reputable service providers who maintain their own security practices. However, no method of transmission or storage over the internet is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Do not send sensitive information, including patient information, by email or through this site.
11. Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights regarding your personal information, including the right to:
-
Know what personal information we hold about you
-
Request a copy of it
-
Request correction of inaccurate information
-
Request deletion
-
Opt out of targeted advertising, or of the "sale" or "sharing" of your information
-
Not be discriminated against for exercising these rights
California residents have these rights under the CCPA/CPRA. Residents of other US states with comprehensive privacy laws, and individuals in the European Economic Area and United Kingdom under the GDPR, have similar rights, including the right to object to processing, to restrict processing, and to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.
To exercise any of these rights, email Dr.GeraldRichardson@gmail.com with the subject line "Privacy Request." We may need to verify your identity before responding. We will respond within the time required by applicable law.
If you joined the community, requests concerning your community account, posts, or billing information should also be directed to Skool, since that information is held on their systems.
12. Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track
Some browsers offer a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal. Where required by law, we treat a GPC signal as a request to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information for that browser.
Browsers may also send "Do Not Track" signals. There is currently no common industry standard for responding to them, and we do not respond to Do Not Track signals at this time.
13. Children's privacy
This site and community are intended for licensed clinicians and clinicians in training, and are not directed to anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If we learn that we have, we will delete it. If you believe a minor has provided us information, contact us at the address below.
14. International visitors
We operate in the United States. If you access the site from outside the United States, your information will be transferred to, stored in, and processed in the United States, where privacy laws may differ from those in your country. By using the site, you consent to that transfer.
15. Third-party links
The site links to third-party websites and platforms, including Skool, YouTube, and social media. We are not responsible for their privacy practices. Review their policies before providing information to them.
16. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected in the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the site after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.
